I couldn't agree more! Bring back Steffi, I say. Sharapova in particular, she's beautiful and is a fine player - but WHAT A NOISE. She sounds like a fox being killed

jr: yeah, I know what you mean. Mauresmo on the other side was into a fair bit of volleying, but mostly it is all baseline power stuff. and yeah, Novotna was pretty classic serve n volley...
